I hadn't planned to check back til tomorrow, but this piece -- from the conservative Telegraph -- was too good not to let you in on...

Oh, I see the amusingly predictable pattern is repeating itself here, AGAIN...you get endlessly humiliated, then reflexively exercise your only defense mechanism...declaring victory like a little two year old with a red bottom...duh...that must be very tedious for you. Don't you get a little embarrassed at yourself sometimes?

As EVERYONE (but you) knows...GW's WOT is really a war FOR terror.

Report: US Wars Have Helped al-Qaeda
Thursday 26 June 2008

by: Damien McElroy, The Telegraph UK

American military intervention in Muslim countries has bred a generation of "angry young men" vulnerable to al-Qaeda recruitment, a report from a leading security analysis group has said.

You know, I bet when we attacked Japan for bombing us and killing our soldiers in the Philippines, that there were a LOT of angry Japanese.

War is about killing people and breaking things. The Islamic terrorist cam to New York and they killed people and broke things. Now we are showing them that we are better at killing them and breaking their things than they are at killing us and breaking our things. Of course they get mad, that is what a war does.

If I attack a wasp's nest on my patio, it is not about negotiation. I get mad that they attack me, and then I eliminate them. In the process, the wasps get pretty self-righteous and angry. This is all very elementary.

If the wars against Al-Quaida have made them happy, perhaps you should ask the ones that are no longer among the living. I suspect that they are not real happy about the end results.

Lastly, aren't you a bit embarrassed about your ideology? Evidently, "everyone" only counts for about 40% of the populace on a good day. After all, we show up here with identifiable names and consistent positions. The lib tards that show up here to blather nonsense are evidently very afraid to be identified. More than that, they are afraid to talk about anything. We are supposed to fell defeated because they show up here, call a few names, refuse to debate, and hide their names?

That does not sound like a position of strength does it?

Exactly. The report says this:

"American military intervention in Muslim countries has bred a generation of "angry young men" vulnerable to al-Qaeda recruitment, a report from a leading security analysis group has said."

Well, duh. How about:

Terrorist intervention in America has bred a generation of pissed off patriots eager to volunteer for military service.

Sure enough, re-enlistment rates are at record highs.

And the surge is working.

I have several relatives involved in that effort.

They are not in the armed forces because they are poor and have no choices to make.

They are there because they are offering to protect this nation and for that, I have nothing that I can give them but our profound thanks and my own personal fear for their safety.

Two of my brothers in law have or are serving in the military...for the same reason you give, James.

It is about patriotism and defense of our fine country.

Has anyone ever talked so much about the glories of serving while trying so hard to avoid serving themselves?

...or tried so hard -- and so successfully -- to miss the salient points of EVERY story regarding their pathetic and destructive performance.

Just checking in on the discredited grotesques...

and they never disappoint the stalwart freak show afficianado.

Can you believe these pathetic trogs really expect anyone to debate them?

They're strictly for sport...and sick comedy.

We need to contact the Sirk guy and have him check this fool out...he should get a kick out of seeing this poor paranoid whack job swinging at him when he's not even here.

Well, his ego is invested in it now, and he'll never be able to admit he made a fool of himself in front of his three supporters.

Projection:

As if Sirk wasn't the one who was exposed.

"Well, his ego is invested in it now, and he'll never be able to admit he made a fool of himself in front of his three supporters."

That's precisely what I've been saying about why the 2-3 hardcore trolls here are persisting.

I've actually used the words: "You're egos are invested."

Your plagiarists.

As I've pointed out before, variations of that have been parroted and making the rounds since 2004 (certainly originating from a guru higher up on the food chain), but it's only heard now from the parroting stragglers who are behind the curve because (surprise) it's fashioned by a worthless and weak minded reasoning that implies that anyone who supports any war effort, soldier or non-soldier, must enlist as a soldier (similarly, it implies that any soldier who does not support a war effort has the right to sit it out).

By that reasoning, assuming that this numbskull approved of taking any action against Afghanistan, they should have booted up and hoo-wahd over there.

It's possible that this one did not approve of going to Afghanistan short of rounding up some posse to vindictively find and lynch bin Laden (or have him sent to the Hague for a UN trial), which means they acquiesced of the disfunctional but entrenched status quo of the Middle East (which was not static but worsening) which makes them, at the very best, a good hearted but naive pacifist like the science-fictional Edith Keeler from Star Trek TOS whose non-intervensionist antiwar activities during WWII allowed the Third Reich to conquer the world and preempt the existence of Starfleet and the Enterprise, leaving Kirk, Spock, & Co. stranded by the time portal with nowhere to go.

At worst, and more likely, this one is an America-hating subversive who really does want us to lose.

Well, FJ, these yellow dogs complain that that we cannot support the armed forces because we have not personally served. However, the fact that they have not served somehow gives them room to criticize those that do. A double standard that is a little sickening, but right out of the Democratic Playbook.

John, they could be the "Liberal Avengers" except for the fact that they are so damned transparent.

I am not going to challenge then to debate anymore because it is more than apparent that they cannot do so. They are a waste of carbon. They officially "leave" and then they come back afraid to post under a name that people can recognize. Dishonest and skulking little fleabags, they fall back on wacko conspiracy theories and socialist dogma to tell us that we have no right to be fully functioning human beings with a mind to discernment.

It is all a game to these people.
