If It Talks Like A Terrorist, And Kills Like A Terrorist...

Senator Lieberman--who wins kudos from Republicus for what he says up there--is an odd hybrid of being a social liberal, a Big Government Democrat, a Blue Dog Democrat, a Neoconservative, and quasi-member of the Religious Right.

That's why he switched to Independent status after the vindictive left ran their own anti-war Democrat in the Connecticut senate race, hoping to dislodge him--as punishment for his pro-war position-- from the post that he held for many terms.

And he won, anyway.

That unhinged the already unhinged left that much more and put him in the crosshairs of their venomous spewage, but he's sitting secure and pretty on his post and is pretty much immunized from their character-assassinating attempts at deposing him.

The only thing the hateful, dependency-driven Democrats hate more than independents are independents who used to be Democrats (and they hate conservatives who used to be liberals even more).

If Joe was a Republican, he'd be a RINO like McCain, Snowe, Graham, and other political chimeras like them.

Nevertheless, on foreign policy he is reliably right.

Somewhat surprisingly, he's right about this, too:

So the Left can have congressional district NY23. And they can throw their little party for passing HR 3200.

But it still has to be passed by the much bigger boys and girls in the senate, and the Republicans have Independent Senator Joe Lieberman in deep blue Connecticut wearing red (not to mention a pack of Blue Dogs who are seeing red with that bill).

Have a nice day.

Lieberman's main allegiance is to a foreign state...Israel. That's what drives his weirdness, peabrain...is that news to you? It's also what makes him an anti-Muslim bigot...like you. Vermin like you have just been chomping at the bit to let their hideous bigotry out vis a vis the Hood shooting, but they needed a "respectable" voice like Lieberman to make it...shall we say, KOSHER, for the filth to put their ugliness on indecent parade. I predicted earlier that it would be ooooozing out of the filthy right wing dung bag soon enough.

Idaho GOP leader Hall fired as deputy prosecutor, quits national committee after stalking conviction
from the idahostatesman
November 9
Blake Hall, a leading figure in Idaho and national politics for 25 years, was fired Monday as a deputy prosecuting attorney in eastern Idaho and has resigned from the Republican National Committee.
Hall, a former member of the state Board of Education, pleaded guilty Friday to stalking a former girlfriend and is serving a 15-day jail sentence. He also was sentenced to a year of supervised probation. A six-month jail sentence was suspended.

Idaho Falls police reported that witnesses said Hall disposed of used condoms on the lawn of the woman's house. Nineteen condoms were turned over to police, collected on 10 different dates, according to a police report. Both Hall and his lawyer acknowledged the condoms belonged to him, according to a police report.

Also, between March and August, Hall repeatedly followed the woman to restaurants, the movies and her home, and he ignored her repeated requests that he leave her alone, according to police and court records.

The victim testified Friday that Hall once followed her to a Walmart and took her car keys and would not return them until she agreed to "hear him out" concerning her marriage, the Idaho Falls Post Register reported.

"I was so tired of being victimized," the woman said. "It is unimaginable that a 56-year-old would be so deviant."

Hall's tenure with the Republican National Committee also dates to the 1980s. Until his resignation, he was the second-most-senior member of the RNC.

Hall began serving his sentence Saturday, two days before he was required to report to the Bonneville County Jail by Sixth District Judge Don Harding.

Harding denied Hall's request for work release, which would have allowed him to spend nights in jail but be freed during the day to continue working.

Special Prosecutor Jay Rosenthal said Monday that the sentence was appropriate.

"I believe the judge recognized how invasive this defendant was in the life of this young lady," Rosenthal said. "He held her effectively prisoner in her own community, and he needed to know what it was like to not be free."

Harding has been a judge for 18 years in 6th Judicial District and was assigned the case in the 7th District because of Hall's many connections in the region's legal community. Said Harding: "I've never seen (a stalking case) this extensive where it lasted so long and (was) such an invasion of privacy."

What right wing dingbat bigots do when they try to "profile." It's Come To This

Really, What Can You Say?
Jasen D. BruceFrom the St. Petersburg Times ...

A Marine reservist armed with a tire iron beat and chased a man he thought was an Arab terrorist and even called 911 to say he was detaining the man, police said.
But the man he assaulted was actually a Greek Orthodox priest visiting from overseas who spoke limited English, police said.

Instead of offering help, Bruce struck the priest on the head with a tire iron, police said.

Ye Olde long distance ethno-credal identification. Works every time.

Late Update: In addition to bludgeoning Islamic terrorist Greek Orthodox priests, he also does some nude male modeling.

These morons can't spell profile, let alone do it.

There he is. Welcome back, James. Kelly told me that you have been very busy.

As I was saying when I myself got back last month, I'm surprised that the Libertarians have been so quiet (with the exception of Ron Paul's son in Minnesota).

The Big Government actions of the Obama administration have provided the Libertarians a golden opportunuity to take the leadership in opposition to the left in light of the GOP's identity crisis.

Nunn indicted on murder charge
By Valarie Honeycutt Spears and Ashlee Clark

A Fayette County grand jury indicted former state Rep. Steve Nunn on Tuesday for allegedly killing former fiancée Amanda Ross.

The grand jury also indicted Nunn for allegedly violating a domestic violence order of protection that Ross had received against Nunn in March. The indictment notes the violation is considered an "aggravating circumstance," which allows Fayette Commonwealth's Attorney Ray Larson to seek the death penalty if he chooses.

Ross, 29, was found shot the morning of Sept. 11 in front of her Opera House Square town house in downtown Lexington. She died later that morning at University of Kentucky Hospital.

Nunn, 57, was charged with murder four days later. He pleaded not guilty.

Hours after Ross's death, police discovered Nunn, the son of former Gov. Louie B. Nunn, with his wrists slit in the Hart County cemetery where his parents are buried.

According to court documents, officers saw Nunn with a handgun when they arrived at the cemetery. They asked him to put down the gun, but it was fired in the area where the officers were standing.

Nunn was charged with six counts of wanton endangerment of a police officer. He was indicted on those charges last week by a Hart County grand jury.

Lexington police have traced Nunn's digital footprints as part of their investigation into Ross's death. Officers are investigating whether Nunn kept a photo of a naked Ross on his cell phone, as witnesses have alleged, according to court documents.

A judge barred Nunn in July from having any nude photos of Ross as part of a domestic violence order against him. Nunn allegedly had fliers meant for distribution that depicted Ross naked and had "insulting verbiage," according to a search warrant affidavit.

Police are also checking for child pornography on Nunn's computers, according to another search warrant affidavit.

Ross, who obtained a domestic violence protection order against Nunn in March, had told friends and co-workers in the days before her death that she feared for her life.

Stankey thinks he's scored some kind of points by cutting & pasting a story about some idiot reservist buffoon who moronically profiled and mistook a Greek Orthodox priest for a Jihadist and beat him with a tire iron to "prove" that...Hasan was justified in going into his "Allahu Akbar" terrorist killing spree against American military personnel (that neared the casualty toll of the attack on the U.S.S. Cole) because he was picked on as a Muslim?

Way to break the profiling sterotype, Hasan!

stankey clarified:

"No, Stankey demonstrated what your kind of bigoted 'thinking' leads to."

What do you mean "no"? What did I say about your reading incomprehension, stankey?

In other words:

"Hasan was justified in going into his 'Allahu Akbar' terrorist killing spree against American military personnel...because he was picked on as a Muslim."

i.e. He was a "victim" of "bigoted thinking."

"Does this pinhead ever get anything?"

Can this fool read? Or does he not bother but opens his mouth anyway, as fools are wont?
