I don't know if he'd be FOOL enough to put her on the ticket, but he is fool enough to let them keynote the convention.

Rising Star Bill didn't do Dukakis any favors at the '88 convention when he took the opportunity to milk the spotlight and talk, talk, talk, talk, talk (without saying much about Dukakis).

Sounds like we're in for a repeat performance in Denver. I can hear it all now, how had it not been for John Edwards...

Berty: They better just hope that Denver is not a repeat performance of Chicago during the '68 convention.

fj: Excellent. That entire episode, start to finish, parallels the Obama campaign.

Obama gave both Clintons two days at the Convention to celebrate themselves and a slot for Chelsea, to boot.

Also, a "roll-call" of delegates.

Not unprecedented, but--with the Clintons involved-- it sure sounds like Billary's angling for a recount of sorts.

Recount? More likely an "open" and "uncommitted" vote of conscience.

I really can't say who's worse, Billary or B. Hussein.

Billary would be more middle-of-the-road, but only as compelled by the polls. However, the same can be said of a President Obama (who flip-flops on a dime on everything from FISA to flag pins in his own obedience to polls), but they're much more ruthless and devious than B. Hussein strikes me as.

Of course, I really don't know Barack all that well.

Who does?

Thanks for coming by, John.

I posted something recently about WHY DO MEN AND WOMAN POLITICIANS KISS? The genders in corporate life don't KISS when they meet...or not much, anyway. I've never seen it. I'm no feminist, but is that equality? Women want to be equal, but they KISS their colleagues? Does Biden KISS Kennedy?

And, really, when you look at this picture, aren't I RIGHT? Blech!!

A kiss by a Clinton is the kiss of death. Obama's already peaked. I expect the next polling to put McCain ahead after Saddleback. Obama will be in freefall after the Clintons poison his convention.
