Sorry I could not hang around long, John. Evenings are about the only time I get to do anything fun anymore....

Had some good dialog with FJ, Sal and Kelly, though.

Thanks a lot, James. I set the whole thing up as per your request and you split after a set or two. I'm going to have to refund the tickets. ;)

Seriously, it takes two to tango, anyway, and fathead's a flatfoot on the dance floor.

No problem. Good exchange between you, FJ, Sal, and Kelly.

Thank you, and anytime you want to set up things like this in the future just let me know. It makes for great practice when people with brains show up.......

But seriously, I cannot be at the computer all the time. Last night I was at this thing until after midnight. I gots to have my beauty sleep and I cannot blog during the day.

Such as it is I suppose.....

Breaking from Newsmax.com

Murdoch Predicts Democratic Landslide, Obama Win
News Corp Chief Executive and Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch on
Wednesday predicted a Democratic landslide in the U.S. presidential
election against a gloomy economic backdrop over the next 18 months.

The 'news' does tend to cover the man bites dog stories, don't they.

Twenty thousand corporate executives yesterday remarked that the DNC was going to get their asses kicked in November, but hey, there's no "news" in THAT story. It's "common sense". :)

Obama's support is overrated, methinks.

Leftists think they're "mainstream" and project their own enthusiasm onto "everyone else" (except, of course, for the extremist fringe group known as "conservatives").

Neither Murdoch nor Scaife predict a "landslide" for Obama the way you nitwits crow but merely reflect their view that the left thinks monolithically and are a lot more energized behind their puppet messiah than the right is behind McCain--when they made those predictions, nitwit.

A lot will happen between now and 11/7.

The odds for Barack losing in a landlide are greater than him winning one, knucklehead.

John, even though the title for that debate was Libertarian vs Liberal I felt I ought to put in my two cents.

I felt that it was a good debate with James and Sal on one side and FJ and I on the other...though neither side was liberal. It seems that side of the debate was missing from the action.

On Memorial day we had a bbq at my house with some close friends. Two of the guys ended up in a very heated liberal/conservative debate. It was rather interesting to listen to because both sides contributed to the discussion without breaking down into name calling.

Too bad we couldn't have that with the liberal batch that haunts this place.

"do you peabrains know who Rubert Murdoch is? Yeah, he's one of those leftists...kind of like Richard Melon Scaife."

You ever hear of Bill Clinton, knucklehead? Poll-parser extraordinaire? "The greatest political mind of his generation?"
Not exactly a right-winger.

He said (just the other day): "All the evidence has Hillary winning the general election, Obama is not."

He's not a liar, is he?

Kelly:

The "liberal batch" that haunts this place are just orcs and trolls who get their marching orders and talking points from their Dark Lord gurus higher up on the food chain.

All they do is spew ad hominems and invective for the purpose of ridiculing and so shaming the opposition into silence (as if we're illiterate Russian or Chinese peasants who are easily intimidated and pushed around, because that's how far back-- and where-- there Rules of Engagement go), and never address the subject.

Heh, well, for a group who is trying to shame us into silence they aren't doing so well, are they?

In fact, we tend to get louder.

You don't have to get louder. Just let them talk. They perfectly conform to the profile.

Not LOUDER per se...but we certainly aren't quiet.

btw, Kelly, when I announced "Infestation!" you said, "Huh? Just one."

There's never "just one" cockroach.
